"I was gifted this knit during our NICU stay in Wellington. I'm the kind of mum who wants my baby to have everything they need, so when we had him prematurely all of a sudden nothing I had was suitable anymore and it was all back in our home town.
It felt incredibly special to be able to have a piece of clothing that was special and would fit him because I literally had nothing with us. It also gave us something to look forward to for when he was out of an incubator and able to wear clothes. This knit was his first outfit, we will treasure it and keep it for him as he grows bigger so he can see just how small he was.

“Receiving the beautiful twin knits from LS Embroidery was such an unexpected and heartfelt gift during an incredibly emotional time. My twins were born at 27 weeks and began their journey in the Wellington NICU before being transferred back to SCBU in Whanganui. We spent a total of three months in hospital, a journey no parent is ever truly prepared for.
Being gifted those tiny, lovingly made knits brought so much comfort and joy.
